PROCEDURE FOR CONNECTING INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS TO GIAS

All ISPs are required to obtain ISP booklet containing application form for each location of connectivity. This

booklet can be obtained by paying Demand Draft of Rs 10001- in favor of "Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd".

Based on their requirements, ISPs are required to obtain local leads from DOT/MTNL till VSNL gateway

locations atMumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Calcutta, New Delhi, Pune, Ernalculam, Jallundhar and Hyderabad.

ISPs are also required to duly submit the application form available in JSP booklet along with License copy

and payment (installation, registration and first quarter installment) to Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

ISPs are required to obtain 'P addresses from agencies such as APNIC and register their domain with NCST,
Mumbai or Intern ic. The details of IP addresses management are provided in this document.
